UN VIENNA

An amazing UNESCO cover from UNO Office in Vienna, depicting 3 beautiful stamps (from a set of 6) issued in 2014, celebrating the indian monumento Taj Mahal. The cover as a special cancellation made on Philatelic Exposition "Numiphil", in Vienna.
The Taj Mahal is an immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperro Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife. The Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. Taj Mahal is inscribed as a Unesco world heritage site since 1983.
