A beautiful cover from Pakistan, depicting a complete set issued in 2014 on topic "Ancient cultures - joint issue with Ukraine". This set is dedicated to the "Cucuteni-Trypillian culture" (covering substantial parts of western Ukraine and northeastern Romania) and Mohenjo-daro in Pakistan.
Mohenjo-daro is an archeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2600 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization. The site was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980.
