This beautiful cover from Gibraltar depicts a complete set celebrating Leonardo da Vinci and it's paintings, including the 2,86 stamp on the right corner The Last Supper. The mural „The Last Supper“, created by Leonardo da Vinci as a secco painting, can still be found in the refectory of the Dominican Church of Santa Maria della Grazie in Milan. Often called „The Supper“, it is one of the most famous paintings in the world and was commissioned by Ludovico Sforza (patron of Leonardo and Duke of Milan 1494-1499/1500) in 1494-1497. Leonardo da Vinci – UNESCO World Heritage Site: The church, the Dominican monastery, and Leonardo da Vinci’s painting „The Last Supper“ were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980.

The step limestone cliffs on the eastern side of Gibraltar contain four caves with archaelogical deposits that provide evidence of Neanderthal occupation over a span of more than 100.000 years. Scientific research on these sites has already contributed to debates about Neanderthal and human evolution. The Gorham's Cave Complex is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site since 2016.

The devil fish or giant devil ray (Mobula mobular) is an endangered species of eagle ray in the family Myliobatidae. It is currently listed as endangered, mostly due to bycatch mortality in unrelated fisheries.
Devil fish are most common in the Mediterranean Sea and can be found elsewhere in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, off the southwest coast of Ireland and south of Portugal, and possibly in the northwest Atlantic. They predominantly prefer deep waters.

The devil fish has a limited range and a low rate of reproduction. As a result it is sensitive to environmental changes. The main threats to this species come from pollution in the Mediterranean and bycatch capture in various fishing equipment including trawls, tuna traps, and dragnets meant for swordfish.
