An amazing UNESCO cover from United Nations (Vienna Office), depicting 3 stamps from a set of 8 issued in 2019. Three UNESCO sites in Cuba are represented: The Morro Castle in Havana, the historical centre of Camaguey and the Viñales Valley.

The Morro Castle in Havana represents oe of the most valuable fortifications in all Havana area, inscribed since 1982 on the list of world heritage sites in Cuba.

Camaguey is among the first seven villages founded by the Spanish in Cuba, first settled in 1528. The irregular organization of the city is distinct from the typical, orderly construction of most other Spanish settlements. The place is inscribed on the list of world heritage sites since 2008.

AZERBAIJAN

My first cover from Azerbaijan, depicting a complete set and a miniature sheet from 2017 on topic "EUROPA - Castles". The castle represented in the beautiful miniature sheet is the Maiden Tower (Azerbaijani: Qız Qalası), located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Old City of Baku". It is an ancient tower with cultural affinity corroborating the presence Zoroastrians, Sassanians, Arabs, Persians, Shirvanis, Ottomans, and Russians. Built in the 12th century, as part of the walled city of Baku, the Maiden Tower, with the Shirvanshahs' Palace dated to the 15th century, are an ensemble of historic monuments. It is one of the most noted landmarks and Azerbaijan's most distinctive national emblems, and is thus featured on Azeri currency notes and other official letter heads. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls which were easily defended. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

BRAZIL

A nice UNESCO cover from Brazil, celebrating it's beautiful capital, Brasilia, with 8 stamps (from a set of 12) issued in 2010.
Brasilia, a capital created ex nihilo in the centre of the country in 1956, was a landmark in the history of town planning. Urban planner Lucio Costa and architect Oscar Niemeyer intended that every elemento - from the layout of the residential and administrative districts (often compared to the shape pf a bird in flight) to the symmetry of the buildings themselves - should be in harmony with the city's overall design. The official buildings, in particular, are innovative and imaginative. The city is inscribed as an UNESCO site since 1987.
