BOSNIA (Croat Post of MOSTAR)

A WWF Fauna cover from Bosnia (Croat Post of Mostar), showing the "Balkan green lizard" (Lacerta trilineata). This species of lizard is found in Albânia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, CRoatia, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Israel, Syria and Turkey. Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, plantations and rural gardens. It is threatened by habitat loss.

TAIWAN

Another beautiful cover sent by Jerry Weng, with another miniature sheet showing a deep sea creature called cock-eyed squid. It goes by this common name of "cock-eyd squid", because in all species the right eye is normal-sized, round, blue and sunken;whereas the leaf eye is at least twice the diameter of the right eye, tubular, yellow-green, faces upward, and bulges out the head. 

TAIWAN

An amazing Fauna cover from Taiwan, showing a 2012 miniature sheet with Deep sea creatures. It was sent by my friend Jerry Weng and has some peculiar things: to highlight the bioluminescente characteristics of these deep sea creatures, the luminescente parts of these animals are printed in luminous ink, giving the stamps a charming effect under darkness. Furthermore, in order to illustrate the color of the Silver Hatchetfish, it is hot stamped with holographic foil.

This is my 4th. cover from Myanmar. I received it from my local philatelic friend Tun Myint from Yangon (Rangoon), capital and main city of Myanmar.

SLOVENIA

Another nice cover from Slovenia, showing a miniature sheet issued in 2016 with Marine Life theme. The minisheet depicts a dolphin species ("Short-breaked commeon dolphin") diving.

A nice Fauna cover from Slovenia with Marine life theme. It shows a complete set issued in 2016 with three different species of whales and dolphins: "Common bottlenose dolphin" (1,00 euro stamp), "Fin whale" (the other 1,00 euro stamp) and "Striped dolphin" (on 1,26 euro stamp).

Another UNESCO cover from Vietnam, with the miniature sheet showing again the Trang An scenic landscape complex and its related festivities.

A very nice cover with UNESCO theme, with a set of three stamps depicting the beauty of UNESCO-recognized Trang An scenic landscape complex.
Located in Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam, the complex was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage in 2014.
This set of three was issued in 2015.

JORDAN

Another beautiful Fauna cover from Jordan (my 3rd. one from this country), depicting a 2013 complete set with Migratory Birds.

CZECH REPUBLIC

An interesting cover from Czech Republic (year 2016), showing 2 historical places registered in the list of monuments protected as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO: The 16 kcs stamp shows Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, a big complex of 109,30 km2 in the Lednice and Valtice areas of the South Moravian Region; the 27 kcs stamp shows the historical centre of Prague, capital and main city in the Czech Republic.

A nice cover/postcard from Lundy Island.
Lundy is the largest island in the Bristol Channel. It lies 12 miles (19 km) off the coast of Devon, England,
The face value of the Lundy Island stamps covers the cost of postage of letters and postcards from the island to the Bideford Post Office on the mainland for onward delivery to their final destination anywhere in the world. Lundy stamps are a type of postage stamp known to philatelists as "local carriage labels" or "local stamps".
